Dan Slott ending his run on Amazing Spider-Man after #700?

Dan Slott via Arune Singh’s IPhone told the Amazing Spider-Man panel at Comic Con International Sunday afternoon that he would have to go into hiding after issue 700 of Amazing Spider-Man.
“The issue will divide fans,” Slott said.
The audience was told that the last page of 700 is a gutsy move by Slott.
“It is the biggest thing he has ever done in comics,” Slott said.
A fan pointed out that Spider-Man has been taking darker tactics to make sure that no one dies, Slott replied that Peter Parker will continue down this dark path leading up to 700. Madame Web was mentioned during the panel and Slott made it sound like she would be around for much longer.Humberto Ramos was quickly hushed when he mentioned that he was draw Carnage.
As of now Marvel Comics has only revealed information up to 50th anniversary issue where Slott introduces Alpha, Spider-Man’s new side-kick.
